Petrarchan sonnet
Sonnets have fourteen lines and follow a pattern. In the class we had to write a Petrarchan Sonnet. I wrote mine about the way that I write, how I write about whatever comes to mind.
Petrarchan Sonnet
It seems to me
Everyone can write seriously
Every word is written thoughtfully
This applies to everyone but me
I always see
People writing easily
Every word chosen carefully
This applies to everyone but me
I tend to write things that are dumb
Like fat people or cats
My stories hardly make sense
I once wrote about a dirty bum
Who liked to steal from people their hats
And now the ignorance shall commence
It seems to me
Everyone can write seriously
Every word is written thoughtfully
This applies to everyone but me
I always see
People writing easily
Every word chosen carefully
This applies to everyone but me
I tend to write things that are dumb
Like fat people or cats
My stories hardly make sense
I once wrote about a dirty bum
Who liked to steal from people their hats
And now the ignorance shall commence
